Rain deflector for bonnet scoop

lard

Member
Hi
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to buy a rain deflector tray thing for the bonnet scoop to stop the water getting into the plugs?

I've searched, but can't find one.

Thanks in advance
Lard

what about when you drive it?

Mine doesn't leak but driving in rain drops it onto 2 cyls without the shield

deflector

I havn't had a spot of bother since I made my Polycarbonate engine cover.
All you need is an offcut, a jigsaw, and a heat gun and with careful bending at the right temperature the cover will fit over your engine top like a glove, keeps out any water and the engine remains very clean.
Just an idea for you.
cheers
