Other ( non Renault ) Subaru Impreza WRX 2005 Squeaking when hard cornering

A quick intro. I have an Imprzea WRX 2005, fully restored and upgraded by the previous owner. Important to note: font brakes are upgradad brembo discs and brakes.

For the last 3 months I've trying to resolve the problem of grinding (metal on metal sound) when cornering hard right. Under normal driving you can't hear anything.
I can't feel anything shaking, the wheel bearings are good, CV axles are new, brake disc is not touching the dust shield, brake pads have plenty of life left.
My best guess is that the caliper may be hitting the disc as evertything flexes undero load? Again, I have no clue. My mechanic friend also couldn't find the problem.
I've took the front discs and calipers apart many times searching for the problem but didn't resolve it. Any ideas whatelse could be the problem?
You can hear the squeak in the video at 0:03 when going in the right turn.

There has to be witness marks somewhere if something is grinding, its just a case of stripping everything to bare components to find it. Has the wheel bearing been changed?

@DaveL485 wheel bearing has about 50k km on it and it really shouldn't be it as there is no shaking when driving and the wheel doesn't move when the car is on the lift and I try to rock it left/right or up/down.
Could it maybe be front diff related? Even thought I changed the oil 3 months ago and there were no shavings or dirt in it.

I'd try the wheel bearing first. I just had one fail with less than 1000km on it, no play but sounded like the wheel was falling off when driving. See my Clio V6 thread.

Hi Gianni!!

Both share the same passion, Renault Turbos and Subarus.... I Have a 2007 hawk STI.
BTW, Does your car have a gearbox swap from an STI or do you have the OEM WRX gear box?? It is well know in the STI DCCD gearbox that the center diff in Auto mode can struggle in hard cornering and make noises..... with the wrx gearbox, i didn't hear any problem, but I would check the center diff if I was you.

regards

Emiliano
