I bought this Raider almost 7 years ago, after years of looking for a decent original car.
Brief history. Three owners from new, FRSH, Original Renault Gamma fitted Alarm
Original plan was to keep her Original but after a local company driving a fork lift into both quarters, sills and doors during some blasting of the underside, this changed my outlook. New genuine quarters, full sills and front wings were purchased. Shell was put on a spit and work commenced. During this time the engine was worked by Agra engineering in Dundee and EFI was added. I then decided this was not the route i wanted and went back to the Carb set up (i'm sure i will regret this!) Every nut and bolt has been replaced during the assembly so far and now its just a case of putting the shell back together.
All of this was done almost 4-5 years ago due to work commitment overseas.
As we stand today, I brought her out of storage during January 2016 to commence the assembly. I'm hoping next time i'm in the UK, March/April i will be able to get the engine in and plumbed up with the aim of turning her over after a thorough inspection with her sitting for so long..
