Phill (phillv6) - Organiser of the annual Lakes Tour

It may come as a shock to those of you who know him, as it did to me, but Phill got in touch a few minutes ago to say that he had suffered a heart attack on 15th March. He is okay now. Tests conducted have confirmed that it was a minor attack, but he will have to have open heart surgery and undergo a triple bypass operation, which is scheduled for Monday (3rd)..

For those of us who have been on, and thoroughly enjoyed, the annual Lakes Tour that Phill (and ColinG) used organise will know how much Phill enjoys his Vee, having used it as his daily driver for many years. We can definitely rule out a Lakes Tour this year, but no doubt Phill will bounce back once he has recovered from his surgery. The recovery period is expected to take around 3 months.
