I contacted the Company and have had a response and price back - but as it's a few £££ don't won't to rush in and buy, then regret it.

If it's too booming inside the car I'd be kicking myself............one thing that do like the sound of is the build quality.

Happy for you to pop over and hear mine when the weather is better. Might be worth hearing mossy's too - which should help your decision. Definately not boomy in the car though.

Removing the cats from the collector pipes does not effect the light.

How much is the back box these days?

Maybe remove collector box and get some pipes made up to replace it?

390 isn't bad at all really. I thought they were about 700 quid at which point I'd say ditch the idea and get the Janspeed full system with sport cats.

That was collection though and about 3 years ago! Think they have put the price up a fair bit now. Be interested to hear how much they are now. I know mick got a group buy a while back and think for around the £550 mark.

Thing is with the collector is that it merges both banks up which is a good thing. Them parts look very well made Matt and just the part although an 1 1/2" pipe joining them would make them perfect.

I am currently looking for a set of Orbisound exhaust manifolds from the Megane V6 trophy. Everywhere I look ends in a dead end. Stumped isn't the word.

Just looked at their website and it would seem they do "2" back boxes for the Clio V6.

I'll have to drop them another email to clarify which one they've quoted for............pretty sure it's the Race one I'll need which looks less complex and therefore "could" be cheaper than the 1300 euros I was quoted.

Orbisoud offers two styles, the one in Matt's photo and the other is a slash cut pipe finish (more race like). I wanted to stay more OEM hence going for the normal style. No idea if the sound differs, but Fabian has some photos of both.

Bear in mine it'll be a six week lead time

silent for two: 1150 € per unit

silent for 4: € 1100 per unit

ideally a single transport in one person.

No idea Matt, me and Mick fancied the oem version so not sure what the cost is (more or less?)
Looking at the size of the box I'm going to say it's louder than the standard I guess

I have got the Orbisoud backbox with straight through collector pipe (i.e. no secondary cats) - no light and passes MOT no problem. The backbox came with the Vee when I bought it.

I couldn't live with it if the Vee was a daily driver but as an occasional car used to hoon around in a spirited manner it is perfect.

Speak to Ben (Mulgari) since he fabricated the new collector (which includes a balance pipe), and did the installation. You may also need a remap to ensure that everything is optimised.
