Does decating effect the mot emissions or is there a way around it ?

Yep, car will not pass MOT so each year unless you know a friendly (dodgy) MOT man you would have to swap them out, not the easiest job!

I thought about it and couldn't be bothered with the hassle for the very few miles my car does

Same here.............just a back box would do me............couldn't do with all the messing about every year - would just be a pain in the a**e.

Downpipes go to each bank Of orbisoud Ali. Same as trophy set up.

Trophy setup is completly different Matt. Both banks merge into 1 pipe. That way it equalises the exhaust pressures to each bank. There should really be a merger somewhere.

Think the Janspeed system with sportscats doesnt put the light on. Not sure if that is the one Shaun has..

The light will only go on if the primary cats (first pair)have been removed upstream of the lambda sensors. There's no problem having full systems with cats in different places if you wish. Just so long as the lambda sensors can read the gasses after the cats.

Just an Orbisound backbox with everything remaining standard should still sound good....................I'm guessing.

Almost anything sounds better than the OEM backbox so yes would be the answer. Whether Orbisoud is better than the other miriad of options is very much a personal preference thing.

If it was me I would skip first base and head straight for collector delete at base two. Collector snaffles the sound, it's weighty and generally full of AIDS.

Hi Gents,

I was only asking about the system.............that's all.

Heard good things about it but knew nothing about it if you know what I mean :s

Just trying to learn as much as I can as I go along.

My car came with a sports exhaust but just too loud for me at my age - 15 years ago I would be loving it.

Just trying to find the perfect exhaust "for me", if there is such a thing...............I really need to have a good listen to some more YouTube stuff etc etc
