New Vee Owner Saying Hi... Finally

Hey Nigel

It's far from neglected!!! It's more immaculate than my focus!! Indeed the wax is super thick, once the wax dulls out I will citrus de wax, clay bar and give it a few coats of dodo juice rainforest, probably before the winter kicks in so it will still be mint when the cover comes off.

@mick.harris

I did have a scratch around the forums for a bit to find out the history before buying and contacted Nigel. I noticed that this used to be your baby too. Between yourself and Nigel you guys have done wonders looking after it, just hope I can do the same

Martin

Martin,
Was that you and your better half going up the M4 Tuesday about 5ish, we passed a very nice blue Vee and a very bright ultimate green rs on our way to Newbury to buy a honda type r.

Indeed it was! She had to drive the Clio as they wouldn't insure her on the focus! Yet the focus costs less to insure....

:welcome: to the forum Martin.
Enjoy the vee and you've bought a cracker there :approve:
I bet it's a tough decision of which car to take today ;)

Hi Martin,
You mentioned that the insurance was less on the Focus, my policy runs out on December 1st when i changed from the Clio to the Focus last week I got a refund of £111.00. With only 15 weeks left on the policy thats £7.40 a week, it goes to show that insurance is a giant rip off.

Nigel.

Hey Sam.

No probs on the photo, was wearing my hobo clothes so wasn't the best of photos

@Nigel, I managed to get both cars insured for £1100, named drivers and every extra added on as I thought breakdown was a good idea after reading about coil packs! Incidentally, thanks for putting a spare coil on the shelf!

It is tough as I don't want to put mileage on either, not that I do a great deal anyway!

The only ball ache is getting the right car out of the drive, means moving a few

Nice to see that my old car is still looking immaculate 8)

I was the first owner and bought the car from Renault in Bristol and had two very happy years with it. I then sold it to Mick who promised me he would never sell it ;)

Here it is in my ownership

Great to see the ownership history.......

Martin, did you by any chance drive down Falling Lane (A408) towards Yiewsley High Street today (around 18:15 hrs)? I was heading away from Yiewsley towards Stockley Park - I was in a 182 Trophy. Not the usual route I take, but the Shell garage next to Tesco's is one of the stations I use to fill up my cars (the other one is in Ickenham) - was bringing the Trophy home from Scott's so stopped off at Yiewsley to fill up.

Saw you at the last minute, and was rather shocked at seeing the Vee since that was only the 2nd time I have seen a Vee within a 7 mile radius from my home.

Was probably me yes as I was driving from Hayes back home avoiding the m25/m4 and the traffic on the pump lane flyover thing.

Hi John

The guys before me have done a great job keeping her immaculate, long may it continue!

Martin
