Hi all,

Just thought I'd say Hi I've just fully paid up to be a member on here as I'm on the lookout for a Ph1 V6. Currently own a Renaultsport Megane 225 Cup and an original Williams and I've also previously owned a Ph1 172, 182 Trophy and a 5 Gtt so I've got a bit of a Renaultsport fetish haha.

Kevred is apparently still selling his mars red mk1? Check out the for sale section 2nd page I think

Yeah I noticed that think it might be just outside my price range though.

Yeah I noticed both of those. Are they well priced? Also been looking at one in Aberdeen. I'm more than willing to travel for the right car. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

I think they are both well priced, the pricer one is a very attractive proposition, low miles one owner with belts included, but... its been for sale for a long time so im guessing they wont budge on price!

That other one you have picked up on Autotrader looks pretty nice too. Worth a look if you can get to it.

I actually picked my mars red phase1 from your neck of the woods just over a year ago, sorry for taking it away!!

Well I work up in Aberdeen quite a lot so I'll try and pop in and have a look.

Yeah it will mate. Push the Scottish v6 population up haha. Seen a few pics of yours on here and Cliosport looks very nice.

Thanks Stevo, It was in the West Lothian area, I think the guy lived in Livingstone, but he met me in Edinburgh though so i cant remember exactly.

Lovely part of the world up there! i got it Sept 2011.

I can recommend Rentec Autocare in Edinburgh for v6 servicing when you have found one, they did the cambelt on mine and were a pleasure to deal with!

I use another Renault specialist for all my Renaults but I have heard Rentec have done a few v6's.

Bit of a thread bump but I will be looking to buy a vee at the end of this year start of next. Few things have came up recently mainly my Williams project which has prevented me buying one sooner.
