  1. Thought it was high time I put something on here...

All of the old members will know this one. Craig and I found it in a hedge with no gearbox, bonnet, headlights, indicators, engine... The body was strangely unrusty so I did the decent thing. That was back in 2005 (ish). After going to France in it in 2007 it had oil pressure problems and I had life problems, so the car got abandoned.

Well earlier this year I decided it was time. So I swapped the engine and MOTd her :) Since then she's been mostly a daily driver (at least once a week) and I've (very) slowly made things better.

    Here's a link to a few photos https://goo.gl/photos/UhjTBYEs6oMt5C5v9

This is the bullshit left over from the door pins. Both pins had snapped in two places. I effectively had to remove 6 bits of pins. Absolute bastard.

All sorted though. Just need to touch up the paint a bit

Had to make a new wing mirror gasket (truck inner tube) when I fitted the new wing mirror (narrow bridge + idiot thought their car was bigger than it actually was)

So I started my 4-yearly clean of the car. Took the sills off knowing they probably needed doing before the next MOT:

To be fair, I dont think they were tooooo bad...

But now they are slightly better (not pretty, but strong)

I've been updating the photo album linked in the first post. Take a look if you're bored (many, many photos...)

Any danger of it actually getting out there on the streets or is it going away for another 3 years now? LOL :D

It's like I have a history of doing that... :p

I would like to sort out it's foibles this time. Like the rev-counter not working (due to it having ph3 ECU) and perhaps replace the alternator :)

I'll leave you with a nice picture of a clean wheel-arch (well, clean-ish!)
