Moggy
Gone but not forgotten
guess I should do a bit of on my megane... its not like i've owned it very long
arrived at my dealership in April 2004, to go in the showroom. I sort of looked at it and thought... mmmm not sure on that, I liked the normal megane, but just didn't get what renault had done. The clio was quite subtle with the move from the 1.4etc to the 172/182..
and then thats where it gets interesting
We PDI'd the car on the 13 April 2004, and our sales manager got told off! as none where meant to go on the road until 1st May 2004!
I was our company demo for a few months and luckly I got to drive it and started to fall in love....
By August it was on my drive for a VERY VERY good price as they had to get it off the pitch before the 54 regs came out.... as they had ordered a 5dr in inferno and a 3rd in Silver... both arrived with damage!
And thats where the affair started
She was home in Paris by September, and it seemed the French hadn't seen many 225's! as she was mob'd everywhere she went
Tbh, i didn't think she was anything special! just my everyday car, that was until Renault forgot to take one to the first world series event.. I took my Turbo 2 and Naomi (mrs moggy) took the 225! she had more photo's taken of the 225 than my turbo2!!!

she's been fitted with a few extra's, all genuine! towbar (don't laugh), boot liner, boot shelf, ipod kit
since then she had shared her garage with.... V6 clio, x2 Turbo 2's, fuego turbo's, r25 turbos, evo 6 TME, and boring cars like our scenic, discovery and N's megane cc and x2 avantimes (if you can call them boring)

but she's out lasted them all!
She took us to Paris when I asked Naomi to marry me
took us on our honeymoon to Paris again
took us around the 'ring in 2014, (all 3 of us... as (too much info now) but we found out Naomi was pregnant on the way home!)

but last year she had the most important job of all.... Bringing Dafydd home from the hospital! the Nurses looked at me strange when I said I was off to get the car, and drove home to get "Megan the megane"
so there we have it.... she's 12 years old this year with 67k on the clock... and still going very strong with her full service history.... don't think there are many 225's who's owner has seen them since the day they rolled off the transporter!
