Twingo Mingo the F4RT powered Twingo GT

So my ecu arrived back from Chris on Monday! I was beyond excited, got home from work ignored the wife and child and out to the car, plugged in and proceeded to disappoint myself in am epic fashion, I was hoping I could finally move the car under its own power. I had no clutch, car running and idling great, but no way to move it. Long story short the clutch line kept disconnecting so I got a new one.

Me and @Adey have a bet on how long to get the engine out and change it and back in.
He reckons 4 hours, I think 3,
what's everyone's guesses?

Few pictures for ye too

How long did it take then?!

From me sending it? Or Chris doing the work? He had it done in a few days, I tend to leave him do his stuff and when it's done it's done kinda thing, no need to worry or put stress on anyone.

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, I've really slow internet and 1 year old who I genuinely think has a death wish.

So clutch bleed was actually my cock up, and used the Wrong slave cylinder! All bled up but still not fully disengaging, it's also really not gonna take any torque I want to give it. That's problem 1
Problem two is an ECU issue as I have earlier software to adey, poor @scoff stresses how much of a ballbag it was to do. So I'll get the bits sorted and send it back over to him in January.

Had my link pipe made up, very sexy work and seeing that had him make up hard IC pipework for me as well!

Bought a paddle clutch from cg and FedEx have up and lost it on me so that's great. Ill upload a few short videos to YouTube, so they might be up in a week

Not much going on, still waiting on FedEx to deliver my clutch, Chris is closed till the 10rd.
Using this time to sort out the small tidy up jobs you get with projects like this,
Ya know the ones where your not happy with the way something is ran so you spend an hour trying different ways to put it back the way it was?

I've to relocate the washer bottle in the back somewhere, and run the power cable to it, I've looped the front and rear waterlines together and I'll split them at the rear.
I've to make a cage and bracket for the ECU and the expansion bottle. Dunno if I'll do it myself or get Celtic kustoms to do it.
I've wrapped the top IC pipe in "gold" heat foil, if it works or not I dunno but in my head it's helping 🤣
It needs a bloody good clean to be honest. But we will get to that eventually

Few more updates, clutch arrived so spent a few stolen chances at it, piccy up date. I also may have bought another bad financial decision but more on that later.

I see you've gone from a sprung to a solid plate. Expect the box to chatter. I went the opposite. Mine's sprung but organic on one side.20210827_134240.webp20210827_174818.webp
Also from Cg motorsport. Box is quiet now. Always hated the chatter..

Reeet, so yeah,. Loads has happend since then. Some will know others won't care 🤣
I think I can lay claim to the 2nd fastest road legal twingo.

I went on a spending spree. I picked up some pms 300mm brembo adapters. 300mm c hook discs. 182 hubs with stud conversion. Zpo shifter, an insanely overpriced ferry, mapping session with Chris and 120l of Irelands shite fuel!

Much to my delight winding Charlie up, I got the first zpo made for a twingo, not just any twingo by my one!
