So finances are holding up the engine install being I want to buy everything at once and have it all ready to rock by my man maths another 1500 should see this running mapped etc.
I spent a bit more time looking into the big brakes,
I've come to a crossroads, do i continue with the heads scratching to get it under the original wheels, or go up to 8x16?
From looking and roughly measuring to fit the 300mm discs under the standard alloys I would need to space them out at least 35mm
The 280s look lost under there and I don't need much room to get the 300s in.
Now if I go to a 16x7.5 / 8 that would solve all the clearing issues but limit tire choices.

Now excuse the tape and caliper this is just for mocking up, as what's good on paper doesn't always work out.
