Twingo Mingo the F4RT powered Twingo GT

Looking good. Is it the angle of the camera or are those seats in the "sunlounger" position?
Kinda is the best answer I can give, I've a weird arm leg ratio, short legs long arms, so this is the most comfortable position for me, with both knees and elbows bent

Getting around to some more serious work, I'm doing a half trackday friday to piss someone off so I'm pikey modding the engine for the fun of it,
Cone filter and a cold air feed that will live where the fog lights used to. I thought I'd offer up the new intercooler for the f4rt setup as the GT one is past it's best, I have to say it's not bad for an educated guess on the dimensions using the radiator spec as a guide, I do however have to do something to the crashbar.......

I borrowed a 4 inch battery grind to make space but that didn't have the reach! So came home with the 9 inch and made short work of it, I'm going to have to borrow a drill as I dropped a car on mine and the things a bit wonky since, I'll drill holes and rivnut the bottom of the cooler onto the lower crash bar, and make up brackets for the top, then start to figure out pipework.

I also prepped and painted the fog light surrounds and the silver bits, all the silver bits will be going gloss black,

I had to gut most of the frame work of the front bumper to clear the cooler, loosing some of the mounting points.
I picked up these flush fit pop button releases and well now is as good a time as any to drill 18mm holes in my bumper

Thats a bit bit of structure to cut out of the front of what is essentially a rocket powered rollerskate... can you add some bracing back in anywhere? Maybe single skin, but thicker steel?

It is, I'm not finished cutting as the ndo box is going require fettling, I'll beef up the subframe where I can, the intent of this is a road legal ish track car

Properly mounted the pop clips today, tidied up the carnage from the 9 inch grinder and painted all the exposed metal, trimmed some more plastic from the back of the bumper, still trying to figure out a 3inch intercooler pipe run

Use a reducing silicone hose on the cooler to drop it down to 50mm or so, dont need large intercooler pipes mate

Impromptu trackday, I tried to kill it, I failed. I don't even know what brand of tires pads or discs are on it, but I had a laugh with loads of tail happy moments I did manage a bit of brake smoke not my usual but content enough
