Me and my GTX

Well an update in case any of you give a toss lol, car went fine for a few days then after a day travelling around and starting fine I went to start it to go home and nada... wasn't going anywhere! Left it for ages (and it was bloody freezing!) and it eventually started but sounded like there was a cylendar (or 2 lol) not running, then after leaving it to run for a while it was fine.

Drastic action was needed so now the carb is sitting on my kitchen table and my house stinks of petrol :)

Was thinking about buying a carb service kit but Haynes (my bible- uh oh!) says its a 4 spanner job to take it apart so I'm a little hesitant!

the carb would have frozen thats why it took a while to go, the fuel pump pumping fresh fuel in would have thawed it out.

The carb strip isn't that hard
