Marks RX7 - lets break a rotary.

It’s pretty bad ass, 90mm.

I’ve been through the rest of the bits - makes my current build look shit in comparison.

Proper peripheral port housings, all resurfaced.

It’s needs a professional clean, I need to buy gaskets, side seals, corner seals etc. Going to need a new clutch/fly and more than likely a bigger turbo, or modify mine. Also need some porting on the plates/exhaust port.

I read every single word of that as BRAP.

I think so, well at the very least making my compressor wheel bigger as I already have a decent size turbine flow - around 1.25 to 1.35 AR. Generally speaking with a semi pp the bigger hot side the better.

I’ve been tempted by those very sexy looking G42-1250s but they are lots of cash. Maybe one day.

I’ve been researching semi PPs and with the right turbo can do over 1000hp. The reality is a genuine 600 will be plenty, I imagine gearbox issues are around the corner even at this level.

Turns out the fuel filter was causing the fuel pressure issue. Fresh OE filter and job done, I did waste £200 on a new pump which pissed me off but what you going to do.

Pull nice now at 1bar but still limited to 7000rpm, I’ve sent logs to tuner with the hope he can up rpm to 8500.

Semi PP engine will be with engine builder over the next week or two. Hopefully built before Christmas.

Kin ell Mark, I knew you had a few issues, but feck me.

Fair play for keeping with it, I remember doing the same with the Evo all those years ago but it does (or atleast did for me anyway) finally pay off.

Problem is, once it made the power and stayed alive, I got bored quickly.

These cars have a tendency to keep you attached hahah ! Truly a love hate thing.

So things have escalated slightly. Just bought a Syvecs S8, going to get rid of the Link. Syvecs with new loom means I can get the Aussie tuner genius to sort proper knock and WMI strategies.

The new semi pp engine will be ready quicker than I thought, likely end of Oct, will share some pictures as it gets built. The plan is a large street port semi PP with some extra bells and whistles here and there.

I’m also going to change the exhaust manifold so I can run a G45 1350, manifold needs to be moved forward a tad for it to fit.

Oh and sorry to say, I know it’s a Renault page but I’m selling the 5 to fund all this craziness. Sorry 😂😂
