The engine is back tomorrow, will fit Saturday.

I’ve moved up from 1050 primaries to 1650 primaries, upgraded the DM Motorsport rails to some very swanky Radiums and moved from AEM coils to R35 coil on plug.

Obligatory picture before getting picked up tomorrow morning. Off for new injector wiring and R35 coils. Plus a little road tune to 1bar of boost.



I’d guess high 400s at that boost which will be ample to use for the rest of the summer hopefully without any major catastrophes.

Would an incremental approach work better? If you can get it bedded in safely and know that your tech is doing everything it should be,you can turn it up. I guess the actual mechanical engine has all the bits it needs. Really it is boost and fuel you are altering whilst looking at temps for air water and oil and making sure that it does not detonate. That was a nice simple sentence, that is anything but simple to carry out.. I hope you can enjoy the summer and it for a bit, then I'm sure boredom will overtake you...

Yes 1bar of boost is incremental in the grand scheme of things.
