We'll stay tuned though.....
30 litres of fuel doesn’t seem to be lasting too long.Unlike this car to have a part failure!
Be interested to see how much fuel your primaries are consuming right now!
Yes like a fool I didn’t do up a water port correctly and at high rpm it blew the blocking plug off. I lost almost 6 litres of coolant.Going to be insane if you get into the 4's
Shame on the coolant leak but glad no lasting damage.....did you work out what had failed?
How did the syvecs react with coolant issue, able to give good warning?
To be fair, for the money that Syvecs stuff costs, I would have expected it to produce water and auto refill the system as you were trying to find somewhere to pull overYes like a fool I didn’t do up a water port correctly and at high rpm it blew the blocking plug off. Yes Syvecs threw up all sorts of safety warnings. Coolant pressure, over heating etc and under that scenario whilst engine is running hot whilst I look for somewhere safe to pull over the ECU adds extra fuel to keep engine cool.
100% my so called next “performance car” is going to be factory fresh with a long warranty.I have to say, this car / thread is a great reminder to me as to why I don't bother doing much more than bolt on mods these days.
