I know of one
Make sure you use ECUTEK as well. Its miles better than the bootmod3.
Is a better solution. More power. What do you know about ECUTEK vs bootmod3 @andybond ?
Do I? Implicitly.Do you trust the RS Tuning guys mate ? Do they do a lot of M3s?
Undoubtedly tried and tested but it doesn't yield the best results compared to the ECUTEKBootmod3 tried and tested, also adjust parameters yourself. I. E. Exhaust sound, pops, you get the gts transmission map free, tried and tested over thousands of cars. I'll get it when the weather's better and show you the difference
I'd be pretty angry right now too.I didn’t expect this from a 2017 M3.

It’s a total joke, I’ve been very lucky in general throughout life but when it’s comes to cars things tend to go to shit.
I can admit that many times it’s self inflicted but not this time.
Thats both good and bad in the same update.Well as project rotary continues in the background I’ve had word from BMW today.
BMW HQ have instructed the dealership to remove my engine altogether to inspect and then to report back.
There is a possibility that I’ll get a new engine, we will see. Apparently their oil pressure testing came back as normal so not sure if I’ll just get a whole new top end or whether they will replace the whole unit.
Upon speaking to the service guy, he tells me that the last F80 that they replaced (clearly more common than I thought) the total cost to BMW including labour was close to £30k, not sure how true that is but he did mention the F80 engine is close to £15k from BMW.
In the meantime they’ve covered my monthly payment and provided 2019 118d M sport which honestly has the worse manual gearbox I’ve ever driven.
