The chammy

updated again

the recall was for a washer that wasn't fitted, its in dialogies somewhere

basically 2nd gear jumps out and can be awkward to engage

and I tried to do a recall claim with it about 5 years ago they said no

hey chris you insured on any of the 19s yet or are you biking it for now? I been scouting around for insurance on the cab or hatch for a week now, theyre not being too nice to me over here

this very car is the car I'm driving so insured on it.

Still to actually pass my bike test so not biking it yet.

Got my module 1 next monday for the bike.

The insurance for the chammy was ridiculous until a call to the dvla etc clarified an issue so its not to bad.

if its a genuine 1 and less than a year old renault will replace the part free they changed one for me which was only 8 months old

it is genuine.

Its about 5 years old and up to 2/3 weeks back only done maybe 2k miles tops, in the last 2/3 weeks the cars been put back into use and done about 2k in that time.

So that'll no fly.

good point about the voltage drop i've noticed that before when checking the uno but never considered extra wiring, isn't the additional wiring going to look rubbish? Or have you routed it with the original stuff?

Only look rubbish if its lying about the place, theres plenty of ways you can hide it, I just have it stuck in just now and you can't see it, along the top of the ns inner wing then along the scuttle under the rubber seal into the battery.

I ordered 2 new toyos today, here on Monday they reckon.

how does the tank look on the car through the wheels?

Hope the HG is alright for the meet!

you can only see it if you look for it, you won't see it unless you peer through the wheels. obviously 5 spoke wheels would be easier to spot it.

I dug out (literally covered in mud leaves and various beasties) 2 wheels and cleaned them up. I had to use a scraper to remove the loose paint from inside the wheels. Anyway all clean, not ideal but will do. So they are in the boot and tomorrow morning will get the 2 other toyos fitted so I have all 4 done.

Got HG set prices, wow thats shot up! Will have to baby the thing down to the meet and back again and leave the HG till after methinks.
