laguna 1.9 dTi connect to laptop

Hello.
I have a laguna 1.9 dTi 1999, and it has one plug like obd2 (16 pin), but i can't connect using a obd2 cable. After seaching the web i found out that it has to be a xr25 cable... how do I convert the xr25 usb cable (12 pin) to my 16 pin?
