GT Turbo Major Restoration

Parts required

New pistons and liners, new pushrods and bearing shells.

New clutch, and replacement release fork.

New Engine wiring loom.

New King lead.

New Front grille, bonnet, front wings front bumper, front panel drivers door, New windscreen surround, rear quarter panel and sill. And side skirt repaired. New sticker kit.

New fuel tank.

Work done.

Engine and gearbox removed,

All front and rear suspention replaced and front and rear brakes replaced, rust free campus bootlid fitted. New radiator, carb rebiuld, turbo is only a few thousand miles old, as is the cylinder head. Driveshaft have covered about 1000 miles, all wheel bearing are new and all ball joints and wishbones.

New clutch, GSF Carparts - p/n R-801015

and replacement release fork. - renault only, 2nd hand from breakers are available

Cheers, I've seen most of the parts on CGB, A lot of panels can be got from beevers auto panels, as well as MK1 5 panels.

It's gonna be a big job but I've owned it for over 9 years so it's been getting progressively worse. Was pretty mint when I bought it too.
 
the gt turbo spares guy always turns up in a van with loads of goodies at RTOC events. some say he is cheaper than bob?
