So me and a mate doing the FMIC.
Him being a panel beater decided to rip the whole of the front off to do it for more access.

As you can see with the bumper on the grill is still intact and apart from the one hose clip you would not know its been done.

90' 57mm to 50mm hose.
90' hose 50mm.

Piece of 3mm Ally plate and angle.
Obviously Airbox gone as was in the way so 2x70mm Stainless 45' pipes and 70mm filter.

On order is a new set of Clio 172/182 injectors and also booked in for beginning of November a remap at EFi parts.

Aftermarket parts are rocking horse poo.....

......So long shot if anyone has an exhaust for one of these please get in touch.

....Or if anyone knows if the back box of the Clio fits again let me know.

I've looked at the fitment of a 133 exhaust and I reckon it would fit. There may be a slight modification required to attach at the downstream joint of the link pipe. But overall I think its the same shape etc.

I used TRW for a decat. I wasn't too impressed with the quality tbh.

Ktec have re-released the GT exhaust system. Seems reasonably priced too.

I've got a set of DS2500 pads and powerflex camber bolts that have never been used sitting in my toolbox, PM me if youre interested.

I do like these little Twingos, followed newer rear engined one, looked like GT one, three pot turbo, think they can be upped to 130, Daughter had expressed an interest in one.....might have a look at a salvage cheapy.

Day at efi Parts.
Chris an I spent an hour trying to change the injectors, they were a cnut, stuck in the block, pipe pliers and brute force to get them out.
Chris will refuse to change injectors in any TCE Twingo ever, PLEASE be warned.
This Gordini is the last of them, ECU was different to others, had to spend another hour downloading and writing a map just for this specific car, cnut.
Added to that this ECU each flash had to wait 7.30 minutes to do, cnut.
Last thing, clutch, just wouldn't hold even feeding in the power or playing with maps so ended up with 138.2hp (obviously more if it could lay the power down)
Spec.
FMIC
182 injectors
Ramair Cone.
Stock CAT, exhaust, backbox changed only.
Now feels like a turbo should, motorway is smooth and responsive.

Good result considering. I trial fitted my injectors the week before mapping, mine were an absolute pig as well. Little bit of oring grease on reassembly made it a 20 min job when I turned up at EFI.

Such a huge improvement for a small amount of basic modifications.

What is the size of intercooler ?
Nice - clean mounted IC :)
What is production year (I mean this problems with bigger injectors)?
I ran a 550x140x65mm cooler with 54mm pipework inlet/outlet. Trimmed the lower crash bar to allow a neat fit.
