The one I’ve just done is slightly different as the base car is a campus, but the earth for the aei in my case ran to where the neg. bat terminal bolts to chassis, or, opposite side of scuttle by the washer pump maybe.
also there is one again in my case behind the kick panel in passenger foot well. may well be one drivers side too.
the GTT’s differ from the campus but being that your pump relay and aei stopped working I would think an earth in the scuttle or passenger footwell by fuse box.
