Extra turbo

Renewed the tax for another 6 months today. Hopefully use it more than 3 times in this 6 month period.

This weeks job is to change the passenger side driveshaft in preperation for next mondays 3 hours of track time at teesside autodrome.

Yeah it is pretty laggy, effective enough when its on boost. I just use a fair bit of rpm to compensate for it

Took the van on track at teesside autodrome for 3 hours open pit lastnight. Had the front pads on fire and rear discs smoking :D might upgrade to gtt discs at the rear eventually.

Its been a while since the old girl has moved. Whacked the battery back on and it fired up straight away after a 3 month layup no problems. Found some motivation last weekend to do the wheelbearings. Coilovers off to avo this week for rebuild.

Still tidy for a van. It never really changes year to year, the garage is dry and it never comes out in the winter. Ill give it a full shoot in a couple of years :)

Are you using a gt rear beam or do the brakes just swap over? Was there much in changing from derv?

Still on the diesel rear beam with drums for now mate. Nothing has changed at the rear yet. Tbh the drums are absolutely fine for most situations, ive got them hot on track due to repeated braking from mega speeds but apart from that no probs

Had avo on the phone today and my front coilovers will be back with me tomorrow for £120 all in...not too bad. Get it boshed back together in next few days and try and sort my boost leak out ready for a run on the RR.
