Have to say efi option is the only consideration on silver bullet rebuild.....watching with much interest (spare adaptronic ecu in garage fueling this lol)

Engine spec will be a bit different so wont be able to compare back to back but cant wait to see how it performs.
I wold only keep carb if going for o.e. Most of the carbs are scrap now so always giving issues, efi is worth it for the hot start alone

Cheers mate, getting there albeit slowly. Wishbid dipped my hand into efi years ago !
Wired in the lc-1 to the ecu on Sunday and refitted the dash cowlings. Give the interior a decent clean, first time in years, still in decent nick.

Bought it March 2008 iirc, impulse bid on ebay with ten mins remaining on auction & won it for £720. Converted it to c1j power straight away and had it on the road summer 08, so coming up 11 years owned/converted. Its stayed in fairly decent nick as mostly garaged for the last few years.
Thought EFI c1j’s still cranked a few times before they fired up still?? Looks great!

Its actually a configurable setting in the Adaptronic software, you give it a minimum cranking revolution count before firing. I set mine to 4, as I didn't want it to catch first twitch especially from cold start.
Funny I got that impression from Fluffy with old @TNT Andy? Know she loves a good crank still on EFI..

Irrespective - I always Prime the oil before firing her up anyways. (Accelarator flat to the floor cuts fuel (optional))
She gets started and run up every month whilst up on blocks
