Gain? There won't be an ounce of gain in power. Weight saving? Anything is better than the original and you'd never notice even if you lost 100% of it. Good workmanship? That's a fair point and the only reason any part or product could possibly demand such a high price. Seriously though, 2 bends welded on to the end of 2 boxes, joined in the middle, 2 brackets welded on and a pair of Vee clamps for the tail pipes. Oh and an hour or so on the polishing wheel. ANY decent tig welder could carry that out! €1200=facepalm. Spend an extra couple hundred quid on bespoke manifolds and a nice stainless setup. At least you'll get what you pay for and exactly what you want that fits your needs. Rant over.
If you can charge €1200 and have repeat custom why wouldn't you!! Same as some of the Kressieg systems! It's about quality and reputation.
For the majority, exhausts are 90% about sound, not performance gains. Not everyone is interested in custom set-ups.
This is v6clio not Cliosport, I'd like to think the majority of us have a similar mindset and would pay extra to get what they want, even if the costs are 'higher'
Bespoke is a huge unknown, you'll never know what it will sound like until its on the car! BIG RISK! And good luck getting a full custom system for about a grand!!!
FYI, my Vee ran 255 and 253 on two separate rollers. So I disagree with your comment above!
