Engine Light on...Not Coil Pack....arrgggh !

Changed over what I thought was the errant coil pack,crossed my fingers and fired her up....no difference....
Still groggy and burbly......
I haven't got an OBD reader....worth buying one do you guys reckon ?
Where do they plug in,I've had a quick look??

Under the ash-tray, under a little plastic cap. Not sure which reader I have but don’t think it’s anything special.

I have aLaunch reader and scanner, few years old but works well in any OBD2 port :approve:

Btw it’s worth swapping 2 coils around to confirm new coil is not u/s. Also same with plug on cylinder as may be fouled due to original duff coil.

Thanks chaps...yes that's a good point rustedandrotten never crossed my mind...can't fault the Forum for reasons just like that.I'm going to invest in an OBD reader too,need all the help I can get !
