After calling around a load today and speaking to a chap on Clio Forum (who was booked until end of Jan) about fitting the ATB I decided to go with a company called Geartech in Kidderminster. Impressed so far as they collected the gearbox and diff this morning from my house only 90mins after I callled. They send off the crown wheel to be machined tonight/tomorrow and then fit diff and have it back to my house by Friday for only £200 which I thought was reasonable.

I purchased a new dash2 pro with Can comms and GPS / antenna for the rs3 powered 5 and is a fantastic bit of kit. Talks directly to the syvec ecu also

....although saying that the new version of WARI (called EUGENE) has a fecking awesome customisable gauges page, so I may just have a windows tablet in there with the Eugene client and a full spread of digital and analog colour gauges.

Yes I saw a friend of mine running this on his Lotus with some kind of tablet. Looked good.

I used to know a few Transmission guys as well as fit the diff's myself... Sadly no longer have any of the tools...as always they were borrowed for a weekend and failed to return ...ever...

Gearbox is back tomorrow and with any luck engine will be ready Sunday. Plan is to put it back in 16th Dec (weather permitting)

In the meantime Jonathan Ward is mocking up a digi Dash surround for me using a broken OE item. Should look good when done.
