A small addition today courtesy of Turbo Ted. A Forge header tank to stop the hoses popping off, my fake Chinese one hasn’t got swaged ends so was useless as soon as I changed hoses. I couldn’t be arsed to polish it but fits much better.

Matt has made the bonnet exit look a bit more pretty. Here’s a comparison.

Almost done, had to send exhaust back to Matt for it to be amended slightly to be a straight finish at the top instead of the swanky slanted look which just made cutting the bonnet and fitting the surround much more complicated. This should be back with me tomorrow.

I had an issue with the car cranking and firing but managed to trace the fault to a damaged crank sensor plug, it got caught up in the water pump belt which was completely my fault. Waiting for a mate to come and resolve as well as wiring in dash 2.

PMS shifter is now fitted too, just requires a small bit of fettling to get the gear selection perfect.

Oh, also bought some drag slicks from @Adey

Crank sensor plug is being repaired tonight so ready to put on the running in miles this weekend. Hoping the snow stays away.

This is old footage Duncan, all of the wiring has been moved and tidied up. The exhaust itself has been wrapped also. I’ll be sure to double check though.

Also I think the above photo is deceiving, there is quite a large space between exhaust and the side of the strut.

I also took delivery from @Adey today of the slicks I bought from him a few days ago.

I’d say his delivery skills are on par with Yodel. I found them hidden in a bush when I got home.

Not to everyone’s taste I know but today I put a hole in a perfectly good bonnet. Exhausts needs lengthening by 2inches. Bring on the flames
