Dirty diesel Kangoo

By the sound of it the old Valeting business is taking off Chris?? Pleased to hear mate.. 👍

Yep it's going very well, some commercial contract work in the pipeline aswell.. already do 11 basic valets for the company, could be 44 soon...does mean some traveling and odd overnight stay, but they are willing to give me a good price per car or cover expenses.. (going to try both)...i know the estates manager and she is very keen for me to do them, as then she can forget about them being cleaned and just pay me.

You know expenses cant be taxed, right? Factor that into your equation.

Slight change of plan, Kangoo maybe staying as a 2nd van/back up...

I have been given a Mercedes Vito 3.0 v6 diesel, it's my bro in law's, but wants a new truck, the van had new suspension, wishbones, disc and pads all around, new tyres, full fluids changed less than a month ago....oh and a reversing camera, full deadlock system installed, android head unit... I can't complain as it's a freebie haha.

It's the long wheel base version, with a massive payload and large towing capacity.

The battery on the Kangoo went flat, and the door lock just spins around... Leaving me with a van I couldn't get into...

Roll forward 2 months and still no joy haha, me being a tight a*se I decided to buy one if the door opening kits of amazon (forgot to skim link)..

I can confirm I can now break into a car within 3 mins causing no visible damage.

MOT time for the kangoo (actually was due in April - but as it wasn't being used I didn't bother).

Failed - windscreen wipers - Easy fix - passed.

Comment and rear wiring for rear light - reverse light, but passed anyway - was good enough for the 2 previous MOTs, just not a standard way to wire up a reverse light...but hey ho

Hadn't done massive amount of miles in the time I had it.... Whilst I was at the MOT garage I checked when the Vito runs out... - this Sunday, it will fail (rear brake light passenger side not working - wiring issue), bonnet catch stuck,no windscreen washer, oil leak.. spent 15mins working on the bonnet catch, Lucy held the light for me, catch all cleaned and lubed up and working correctly, however cable is snapped - new genuine one to be fitted, have new rear light connection to fit tomorrow, windscreen wash topped up.....next to find the source of the oil leak.
