Detailing my vee

wow really ! thats cheaper than a cleaner !! Is that all the way round or just top ? if its all way round i would prefer as it wont stick out as a new part ;) cheers James :salut:

I'm guessing all the seals.

When you click on item 1 (highlighted) it lists Windscreen and then Trim kit

Ok I no my vee is left out in the open as I converted our garage for my dad ;) but Thursdays rain ruined my vee so thought I would post a couple of picks of before and after the "sand" mixed rain in wiltshire ! God I hope it doesn't do it again !! Just a note to all of you who have time to go to shows or need a quick 'spruce up ' I used to use 'showroom shine' but today I used Williams waterless cleaner - my car was filthy! ! No water just microfiber clothes - but I always clean wheel and tyres then under arches with water - so not all strictly waterless but you could ;) [album]14276[/album]

Oh just a note - this was 1st time since my valet - if you can call it that - I would say paint correction ! When I buffed up passenger side rear window I found lots of dribbles of the top coat used on the valet! Took me 1 hour to remove with a STANLEY KNIFE BLADE !!! very very carefully but nothing else would remove it ! I was plopping my pants that I might scratch the glass but I got 99% off just a smear left :( was gutted when 8 found it

Hi again chaps / chapesess - just an update - I parked my vee up yesterday after a long 3 mile drive after 3 weeks sat on drive - I looked into this "black to the future " my so called VALETER came back to correct my white residue issue a few months ago and it was poo !! So I am looking to remove the rubbers around the doors and shuttle panels and give it a good going over !! I know how to remove skuttle panels but with the door rubbers is it just " pull them off " or do the trims need removing ? I don't want to start it and get in a pickle with it !! I'd love to replace and uv stabilise them all before fitting on car - I have had suggestions before -ie peanut butter etc but this black to the future thread ended without a recommendation! I got to sort it as it drives me nuts !!! Lol ! White residue still coming back ! I presume the v6 is based on a 2 door standard clio so I could otder standard rubbers for a normal clio and replace all door rubbers quite cheap :) any advice as to the replacement rubbers would be much appreciated - worst are on car not door but would love to replace all !! Cheers in advance. (Still on old side pods, you lot keeping Scott busy !! Lol ! )
