Time has passed again. But I've not been lazy
Sold the tigra.
Sold the mini.
Sold the C30.
Bought a Saab.
Took a deposit on the Clio, but then backed out of the sale.
Whilst all this is going on. I've been playing with the Clio.
New spark plugs and fuel pump.
Fresh fuel.
Car is a ripper and is no longer for sale. I realised how much I liked tinkering with something so small and easy compared to all the other cars.
I put new rear pads discs and bearings on the back as I've always had this like abs pulse kick back when slowing down. I had already changed the fronts so I assumed it was the rear.
Whilst it was all off I put 10mm shims in aswell.
And now I have another issue.
I drive and traction control comes on constantly. Blocking all the power. If I turn it off I can drive normally.
But then the dash looks like this
Turn the car off and on again and it's back to normal.
I've tried a different brake switch. No difference.
Is it possible the rear discs have different reluctor rings?
Do I have an abs issue. Or did I just damage an abs sensor when I had it all apart. Or have I always had a broken ring on the fronts?
Side note. My cruise control and limiter has also never worked. Is this linked?
