Yep, cash waiting!

Also need Ben to confirm what he has arranged with the courtesy car he was working on.

Yes this is an important factor for me also - Peter any chance you could contact Ben, just in case he hasnt seen the forum.

Please add your preferred start time. If you can wait then great (we could get more people and thus more discount). Or if your in a hurry please post your ideal timings.

1. Suggs OE within 4 weeks MAX
2. Lucy J OE ready and waiting
3. CSLCraig OE
4. Scrabble
5. KevinT - OE ready and waiting
6. Mossyv6 OE

Cheers

Ben,

How will the courtesy car offer work?

We drive to your workshop, leave the vee with you, take the courtesy car and then come back once finished?

Are you offering this as part of the service price or at an additional cost? Does it include the insurance?

Thanks for organising this :approve:

Correct,

You drop off and return once the job is complete.

Unfortunately I have never offered a courtesy car before so never bothered to take out the additonal premium. There will be an additional cost of £27 (per customer) for the courtesy car to be made available to all in the GB.

Hopefully this cost is suitable for the convenience it offers.

The car is only a 1.6 megane, but enough to tide over most people during the work period.

Regards

Ben

^^^ Excellent news about the loan car, count me in :approve:

Insurance shouldn't be to much of a problem as i am sure most vee owner will be covered due to having fully comp insurance and therefore 3rd party on the loan vehicle, that's if your happy with that level of cover Ben?

Ben,

Not 100% sure what your saying! Is it £27 to use the courtesy car including insurance? I dont mind paying £27 for a courtesy car but I certainly wouldn't want to be driving over 300 miles only 3rd party covered on my own insurance.

Sorry,

Fully comp insurance for the courtesy car is covered by my trade policy, for any customer driving. So long as you dont have a million points, previous bans or are 18 etc etc.

So you wont have any worries about the legality of driving the courtesy car about whilst your car is in for work.

Ben

Thats great news Ben, thanks.

Right then guys, are we good to go? I'll send scrabble a pm as he put his name down but hasn't said anything since. I want to get this booked in now.

Hi

Thanks for the message Suggs.

The story is that my Belingo Van went in for its MOT last week and failed on various things. All in all it is gonna cost me best part of £400 so will have to get it done. The Van is old and is my work horse so that comes first I am afraid. The Cambelt is off for a min for the V6 and the car will sit on my drive. I am sorry to muck any one around. Its just one of those things I am afraid.

I hope you all get the cambelt done.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Ben,

Would there be any chance i could book mine in for Monday 20th July if i could leave it with you on the Sunday night?

I ask this as i will be down for the Kimbolton show on the Sunday.

I will pay for parts as per deposit requested as soon as.

Thanks

Paul.

Right, we have 5 people with deposits ready to go. All 5 of us want OE parts correct?

1. Suggs
2. Lucy J
3. CSLCraig
4. KevinT
5. Mossyv6

Is everyone happy to go ahead now? I dont think we will get another 5 people for the additional discount will we?

Ben, how do you want the deposit sending and how long will it take to get the parts in?

Yes I'm happy to go ahead now with this with the OE parts!
I think we will struggle to get another 5 people to be honest...

I have emailed Ben. Sorry I am a bit strapped for time in business hours to call him due to work. :(

But i'm sure he'll now post up.

Looks good to get 5 done. Good commitment everyone! :approve:

Peter :D

I've had mail from Ben he will pop in here next week to confirm all the remaining details for everyone, and we can get this rolling.

Cheers
