I think so. Oli is twisting my arm to choose a day. You met him at Kimbolton. He has a lovely silver phase 2 now, Scott is currently working his magic on it. In short yes both of us.

I went to see approximately 5 V6s before I found mine - all at dealers and all wasting away around the back in a wet lock-up looking very sorry for themselves having sat there for months (and with an absurd mark-up). No one looks after these car properly except an enthusiastic owner. Some of the V6s I looked at, probably several of which jumped from one dealer to the next not being cared for appropriately, I wouldn't have touched even with the budget to put completely right. Hopefully someone else feels differently and will rescue these cars!

That's my opinion as an enthusiast and someone that until a few months ago was dedicating evenings and weekends into finding a car to purchase! An opinion, I imagine, that differs very differently from that which a dealer might have - on occasion attempting to misrepresent a cars worth. I'm all for people/companies making money but perhaps their approach, certainly as an enthusiast, leaves little to be desired.

That being said; why there are people that come on a forum like this, get personal and push their views so forcefully, I don't know! :rollseyes:

Yes! Been around for a few months now; car is currently at Scott's getting a once over and preparing it for, hopefully, a year of shows and driving! (When it isn't horribly cold and dark outside)!

Looking forward to Silverstone Classic, although haven't decided on a day yet... Any tips? (And don't say all three!)
