Hi everyone,
had a message tagged on facebook yesterday from an employee of BCA auctions (Bedford car auction) letting as many people know of a silver phase 1 V6 that went through the auction today, (XU52 YBS, or YBB) fair play to the guy he said he'd like it to go to a private buyer and not the trade, 10000 miles and expecting bids around £18000 !!!, just wondered if anyone heard anything,

Nice one Mick. :approve:

Seems like this Vee is not in the V6 Register, or at least the registration is not recorded.........

Is that the Bedford branch of British Car Auctions (BCA)? Can't find it on their site though.....

I've also had a look on google Dulan, but nothing came up, my workmate also got the message who belongs to the Ford R.S. and international modified forums , and it's all over them,

Will find out how much it went for tomorrow.

The car was sold to webuyanycar and they put it into BCA with a reserve £18950

Just as I figured; WeBuyAnyS*!t seem to have cottoned on to the fact that there is some easy cash to be made by flipping Vees!

Hope the last owner got a decent deal when they sold it..........

Do we know how many owners this one has had to date?

Great stuff - hope this Vee went to a good home........and not a trader, who will no doubt make a good return on it!

How mad that someone sold a 10,000 mile Vee to webuyanycar instead of one of the many traders who would have easily given them £20k plus for it and would now try and sell it for nearer £30k

I expect that's exactly what will happen to it once it's been bought at auction.....on Pistonheads in a week or so for £30k +
Does seem daft selling to that lot.

I bet some people kick really themselves when they see a great bargain, but sod about haggling over a few quid, then miss out big time!

Some people are just thick as mince.

Did they not look to see how much the car was worth before offloading it? Jesus wept.

So they buy it, change the numberplates then stick over 10k on it, what an idiot.
Nobody in their right mind will pay that providing they see this.

I think the dealers on the money, it's the seller that missed out. Find another real clean ph1 on 10k miles! I can only think of a handfull in the UK.
