5 GT Turbo Back with a Raider - street sleeper

Been few months since i updated this
I've been working away on the car, done a fair few bits to it
I've managed to do a lot of the wiring for the engine bay (wiring up the water injection and chargecooler pump), also managed to get the boost pipe route sorted too. Lot easier than I thought

I got my new door badges fitted too, look very good for replica ones and finish the outside off nicely too

Also fixed my seat runners, the drivers one was buggered beyond belief so I stripped a knacker seat down I had to robbed it of its runners and fitted it to my seats. Seat now works lovely and am able to love it forwards and backwards with ease. Next on the interior is to fit the double din centre console I have and fitted 3 new gauges into it.

I managed to get my carb cleaned up and rebuilt too. Done a few little secret mods to it too so I can get it to supply enough fuel for the larger cc engine

After a long think I decided even though I love the Williams wheels on the 5 I wanted to go back to standard Raider rims. After searching high and low I come across a good set with caps. I had my brother supply and fit a set of Falken 185/60-13's as I couldn't get any original size ones. To be honest not having the right size doesn't bother me too much

Hopefully it will be off to Fusion Fabrication soon to have a its new exhaust system made and finish off the downpipe, Matts done a brilliant job on my manifold thought it would be nice for him to do the exhaust too
Pics will follow once its done

This is cool as f*ck mate. The build looks immaculate, and propper interesting. I aim for my stuff to be somewhere close in future.:clapping.gif:

Cheers mate
I got a lot more ideas up my sleeve :grin.gif:
This engine won't have much more done, the one I am building for a campus shell I part own is another story :ag:

If you want to sell those Willy wheels mate, drop me a PM.

Lovely motor/project by the way.

Unfortunately already sold them mate, they went pretty much straight away when I mentioned I was going to back to original
Cheers mate, you still got whitey on the go?

Doh, no worries mate. The quest to find a set continues... @Brigsy :i-m_so_happy.gif:

Yep, still got Whitey, but the poor thing hasn't turned a wheel in 18 months or so though. Lack of spare time to enjoy it unfortunately.

Its been a while since i've been on here and thought best update this thread on the Raider
Shes still here tucked away in the garage just with little less engine than before, long story short is i've ditched the carb and conveting it all to efi
Reason being i have been tuning my mates 1.7 turbo on carb throughout the year and we have found it very hard to stop the carb emptying past 20psi, for this reason we both decided to go efi. Over the past few months been buying all the bits needed, got the Adaptronic with loom, siemens injecrtors, sensors, etc

I also sent the car away to Matt at Fusion Fabrication where the car was treated to alot of new parts, custom inlet manifold, modified manifold (accept larger turbo), downpipe, 2.5" exhaust system, charge cooler tank and few little bits too. His work is superb, could't ask for anything better.

After throwing some ideas around and having chat with few people who've played with the B18FT too i've purchased a new bottom end to stick in the car. All will be relealed soon once i get all the correct parts needed

I will add some pics up once get pics loaded, its getting there now even with the slight diversion in what the engine bay will look like now
