So with a new clutch, master and slave cylinder #69 is back on the road 
(Clutch and slave cylinder is now a 4.5 hour job rather which my brother/mechanic was pretty happy with).
First trip out was Kent to Dorset for a weekend of camping, then back to Leicestershire to resume life as my daily driver. Incidentally you can fit a lot of camping gear in! I had photos but accidentally deleted them so i guess it didn't actually happen...
