alternative wheels for R19

Once more i require assistance what wheels do we have available i quite fancy some early corvette wheels but completely in the dark about how to get these on my 16v chamade!

My understanding is the standard stud pattern on my car is 4x100 15`s unsure of offset. The wheels i would like are 5x120.6 and ET34 these are 8.5j fronts and 9.5j rear 16`s may require two sets of fronts due width.

Can adapters be brought to fit these or another application modified im really in the dark with whether or not this is even possible so any one with the know could you please point me in the right direction!

Im fairly new to this scene i was more of a aircooled vw nut but sick of the trailer queen 50k splits cropping up ruling the scene! to get alternative wheels on my bug it was a case of buying and redrilling blank hubs!

any help will once more be greatly appreciated!

the 19's offset is 36, the newer renaults run 42 - 49mm.

anyway you can get adaptor plates that bolt to the hub using the existing holes then the adaptor plate has the 5 holes you need.

you will need the fronts all round even then they may rub.

cheers for offset, was aware of width being an issue was hoping to run slightly stretched tyres so only minor rolling of the arches will be required but believe the effort will be more than worth the effort!

its not usually the arch lip that causes an issue, usually the rear axle or the front inner wings

Excuse the crude photoshopping didnt have much time but that might give you some ideas

the photoshop job or what it represents? i think theyd look better in slightly duller aluminium colour, i really dislike shiny silver wheels

they'd stick out more eh?

what exactly does this mean (is it obvious?!) "sick of the trailer queen 50k splits cropping up ruling the scene!"

those wheels are alright (y) I seen elsewhere people are drilling the hubs to change to 5 stud, you'd need spacers too probably

yep as it states the air cooled vw scene became over run with freshly built/restored split screen vans with chrome and polished everything! they take them to shows on trailers uncover them push them to show area and win all the silverwear!

In my opinion this is not what building/moddifying cars is all about build, drive an enjoy your cars! the orange bug of mine was my daily driver for two years rain or shine still picked up awards and i got to actually enjoy using it to! unfortunatly someone tore the roof while i was at sea for 2weeks and the car suffered water damage, currently waiting minor work to repair!

have you got a good picture of some non shiny ones, maybe just standard alluminium colour i can see how they look

i like it mate

needs dropping on the rear
and yellow front fogs and front lights

leave the rest

:D

fogs are already yellow and as i posted in another thread ordered new headlight yellow film
