Great work @Gary

Is this the original french Number plate??

I'm sure I did the nova first. Then a v55/5 form? mine was old enough to not need mot or tax so not sure where in the process they slot in.

This car is certainly testing me and I am starting to loose the will, plenum chamber all done, map sensor balancer fitted, coil pack bracket mount made and all back together.
Engine turning over but major oil leak from a dodgy new copper washer that wouldn’t seal, replaced with a doughty washer and all sealed up.
Check if we have a spark and nothing, finally after a lot of checking the new loom found that there was a dodgy new relay and no power to the coil pack, so finally power to the coil pack and still no spark 🤦‍♂️. I believe I have an amplified coil fitted so need to try a non amplified coil next🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ as omex don’t operate on an amplified coil without changes to the map.

Still No Spark 🤦‍♂️, new non amplified coil fitted but nothing, there is some progress however as I have managed to connect the omex software into the ecu and take some live readings, so at least I know certain elements are working fine, air temp sensor and water sensor showing live readings and increase with heat, TPS shows readings and increase with throttle response, map sensor shows readings along with lambda sensor.
The high pressure fuel pump comes on intermittently on pre-prime but not always and there is no live feed to the coil so there appears to be a an intermittent live, or a problem with the relays. We will get there

The only direct instruction he gave
As this is boost correction you must useFuel_Throttle_Map and not Fuel_Map. To add a map to the mapping screen, right click on the blank part of the screen and select Add_Map

I don’t believe the who who loaded the map onto the ecu Actually did this, I think he just loaded it direct. But wouldn’t have thought this would prevent a spark

what trigger wheel have you got fitted?

you can upload the maps and stuff yourself if you have the laptop talking to he ecu, when cranking you should see some information on the bottom left of the screen showing the ecu counting teeth if its reading properly. Its been a while since ive played with an omex but a good friend of mine is the tech guy over there so can possibly get some help from him for you if its not an easy fix.

The ecu will need to see the engines position to fire the spark plugs and injectors so that would be a good check to begin with
