Clio Adeys Clio 182 with added F4R+t content

Another bad thing is the antiback alcohol wipes melt the soft touch coating. I now need a replacement radio and possibly a heater panel :dx:
 
yeah, wasnt rubbed hard or anything but these, that i use on my hands daily destroyed the coating.
 
Managed to bag a winner on fb last night. A chap popped online offering the rear seats, seat belts and parcel shelf from his 182...... well that saves me cleaning my mouldy ones from mine and replaces my parcel shelf that was cut for 6x9s! the 182. The 182 seats are specific as they have silver bits in the seats and the belts are also silver. Still plenty left to clean but hopefully i can have the interior finished by the weekend 20180307_175542.webp

Had more of a mare. The alternator that was sent had been refurbed in its past by the looks of incorrectly. The rear partbis about 180degrees out? The main terminals were pressed hard agains the ac pipe work...... i got annoyed for a few days but in the end just removed the ac pipes. Tbh they would of been removed in the future i just didnt want to do it now. I need to extend a wire for it all to fit but it started up fine. I have a few final bits left to do and then i can book it in for an MOT.

Managed to get some a little time on the clio today, i did hope to have it motd this weekend but ran out of time with being away with work. Dyno day in 2 weeks......... anyway i soldered some wires, got a bonnet catch and got it all back together. It still needs the wheels picking up and fitting and i think there's a faulty light stalk on there now i think? I get no sidelights front or back though the bulbs look fine, also no flash. The mains come on and the rear fogs but thats it. I also need to dig out the clip as the serv light and engine management lights are now on. Aux belt seems to squeel on start up too and the headlight washers seem blocked. A fair bit to work through really before an mot.

Its still green and mouldy in places but it isn't too bad. Most stuff should come up with a jet wash and some polish hopefully. Its still covered in moss in all the joints and cracks. Once its road worthy ill take it to the local car wash for a cheapo inside and out job.
 
Went to try and sort the lights out today, it wasnt the stalk at fault but some relays by the uch. Pulled and swapped a few around and the side lights worked along with the flash but then lost main beam lol. Will strip them down and a look inside. Worst case ill be back to the scrap yard to pillage some more. 20180319_162637.webp20180319_162624.webp
