[8 May, 2015] 30 years of the 5 GT TURBO (in france) (Route de Bourges)

Everybody ready??
Present and correct Mr B.

Noticed a rude gouge in my 1500 mile old proxes sidewall on the front left though. Not pleased. No damage on wheel, god knows how it happened. Cant even switch it to back as the rear wheel valve fouls the calipers, the front has special 90° valves to clear the brakes...

Where is everyone coming from then? Do you all want to arrange some meeting points?

I'm going Coventry - A46 - M40 south - M25 anticlockwise - M20, i'll probably meet @am21t on M40 and @KarlR21 will meet me at mine before departure.
@Brigsy you and shez are welcome to crash at mine the night before if you can both fit in a single bed :)

We are off over to calais on the wednesday pm Dave cheers for the offer though :) we have booked the ferry as it was considerably cheaper than the tunnel. Need to arrange somewhere to meet you lot bright and early in france on the thurs.

Last min problems with the gtt at the moment the turbo oil feed has decided to start pissing out oil so if i cant get it fixed in time the van is coming :D

Im sure big steve will put up an exact timescale next week but we will all meet at Ashford Tescos, just off jct 10 of the m20, prior to setting off for the tunnel

As for the guys coming anticlockwise round the m25, il be hitting the m25 from the m4 so could all meet at say the Travelodge just off jct 14 of the m25 by heathrow ? then all convoy down to ashford?

Will sort times and stuff soon

Right then guys... the time is getting near and I'm looking forwards to our French Renault Jolly Weekender :dance.gif: I've had my tickets through the post today. I hope everything was there, as the envelope was opened when I got it from the postman :negative.gif: I received:
  • A letter detailing 4 important points.. in French... but I think I can decipher it's basically :read.gif::
  1. You go on the circuit at your own risk..
  2. No Alcohol inside the Circuit
  3. Something about Camping??? :search.gif:
  4. Bring these documents with you
  • I got a track pass to the Circuit.... for 2 x 30 Minute Sessions?? Thought it was an open circuit jobby?
  • And I also got my voucher for Saturday Dinner..
Hope you all receive something similar...? :grin.gif:
