[8 May, 2015] 30 years of the 5 GT TURBO (in france) (Route de Bourges)

For those of us driving from the UK, have we got a rough idea how much the French motorway tolls are going to be?

Actually just found afew sites that calculates it for you....Approx 100 euros for the whole trip

Right then, for those of you coming from the UK and are thinking about european breakdown in an old vehicle there really is only one decent option. Most short term european breakdown policies arnt worth the paper they are written on!

ADAC is Germany equivalent of the AA, as a member of then the policy covers YOU not the vehicle, its an annual policy with can also include your partner, single membership is 84 euros per year and will cover you throughout Europe and even in the UK!, they will send the AA out if your still on home soil
All the reviews from people who have had to call them out have been superb, ive attached afew websites for you guys to look at
I called them up today, their English is superb, they will give you a personal email address which you send your details too, and once you have your membership number your good to go!

There is the option to join online but its a lot easier to ring them direct and get it sorted

The phone number to call is 0049 221 47 27 47

I agree with kris on that having lived in Germany Adac is probably the best choice.
Having said that me being in a very tight budget this year I've gone with the RAC top cover for £36 , that will only cover you for 1 trip and should a break down occur will more than likely see a man on a donkey turn up with a screwdriver, but it's better than nothing.

Nope .
today was the dutch renault club meeting .
and on the way back a was playing with an porsche carrera rs4
and now i have a ratle in my engine .
so i wil try to fix it in time ,or i am coming with the r11 sadly.

Nightmare :( bottom end?
