[8 May, 2015] 30 years of the 5 GT TURBO (in france) (Route de Bourges)

For all who are going, i have just read that the 'exponent' part of the registration form is actually needed to be paid to get our cars into the venue. Has anybody paid this? Do you ink we can roll up on the day and pay 10 euros? Id rather not go through the hassle of international bank transfer again?
I have looked at this part of the entry form and have come up with two theory's on what it can be:
Capture.webp
  1. It could be time with an instructor for the track day (only 80 seats). Because they ask if you're a professional or Private Individual?
  2. It could be Exhibitor space to sell your products at the event. For example if you're a professional (GT Turbo Spares etc..) then you can enter and exhibit for free. But if you're taking some cheese that your old grandfather makes to flog off to unsuspecting British mugs, then that will cost you €10 for a stall - Either way there's only 80 stalls available...?
I've e-mailed the organiser for clarification? :)

the Dutch paid the 10 euros if not youre not allowed on the circuit property.
we all paid it under protest, silly france orginasation.:ireful2.gif:
if neccary you can pay the 10 euro when youre there , or somebody will be sleeping at some hospital:aggressive.gif:

I just had contact with the secretary and this is becoming a pain in the arse to organise. It appears the €18 is only for diner 5min away from the camping. I'd rather spend my €18 at a restaurant nearby! And Marcel is right, if you're not tracking you have to pay €10 per car to get onto the venue. The ones that are tracking are parked in a different (paddock) area so won't have to pay the exibitors fee (which before, i thought was for people with stands)

We've all paid €18 per person and now have to pay an additional €10 so i started asking questions too....

so if you want to the venue you have to pay the €10.:yes3.gif:
and the diner that i (we) dont want would cost €18 ,but i think we rather eat at some restaurant together .
so the don't get my €18 :dance.gif:

so i am glad it sorted now .

thanks Jo for the translation and Arthur ofcourse:i-m_so_happy.gif:for the time to get it al sorted for all of us .:yes3.gif:

Lets not start a war... here is the response from the French team about the "Exponent" enquiry:

Good Morning
For the exhibition of the R5 Gt turbo on the Circuit is 10 euro price but for you English is 5 euro
The evening meal is 18 euro and it is 5 minutes from the campsite.
In the morning a small dejeuné is offered for any person present in the morning
Sincerely
Joel

Realised tonight that we're going to be departing on the same day as the General Election! So you'd all better register for a postal vote so you don't miss out on your chance to vote! :punish.gif:

Vote for what, the next bunch of assholes to rob us blind?

The only reason i'd vote (for the first time ever) is to keep Labour out, cos the current bunch of assholes are slightly less worse.

Hi turbo pals
I'm sorry to say we will not be going to this event now as I got to many other comments mainly my f7p turbo needs some track time at pod this year, and ferry from Ireland to England not cheap, and France is the same with 18hours ferry crossing, so hopefully next year sangliers will be back on regards RobbieRobbie

Shame to hear Rob :(

Ireland to England is 4 hours and that's bad enough, really gutted were not going but we can't do everything RobbieRobbie
Sad to hear that Ted! Who else is going from 'the other side'? I'll bung a message over and see if they wanna hook up and convoy down if we are crossing at similar times.
