Clio 225 Clio Build

This looks like a lot of fun :drinks.gif: Have you thought about using a traction control system when pushing through the 300 barrier? Or does it handle it well? Very nice car indeed :yes3.gif:

Not thought about it as the car handles well just now, but need to see what happens once it get to the higher power

i used to use a clio rs throttlebody on my buildt, last summer i noticed that this was not optimal.
the difference between the diameters of the manifold and the throttle.
it reduced the perfomance and response......

Thanks I'll need it

Couple of small parts ordered this weekend, will be ordered my fluids within the next week too, don't know the best way to go for running in anyone got any ideas?

Well still no engine yet as it's needing the oil pump changed as the guy didn't like the flow which is fair, should be here this week.

So I decided I that I was going to start on fitting my gauges such they have been delivered

Just need to tilt them forward a bit then secure them

Picked up a few goodies over the last couple of weeks

Sabelt wheel and boss
Aerocatches and my engine

Still waiting in the turbo coming back but I can get all the manifolds and the mounted which is a start hoping to have it but hoping to have it done by end of may

Mate that steering wheel is lovely, where did you get it?!

It's the x85 clio cup wheel iirc, only available from r-sport in Wimbledon about £140 new, obviously you can get it from sabelt without the branding.

@W33 BRL hope you have better luck second time round, really wanted to do this conversion on my cup but never got the chance

image.webp image.webp Well this week I got my helix clutch fitted along with the gearbox fitted to the block

Also fitted the steering wheel and ran the wiring for my gauges , stripped the front brakes off as I'm ordering brackets for my r26 calipers this week and discs and that should be here the week after with luck

I'm no looking for other small upgrades so I can keep my interest in the job, cause the hassle with this turbo is driving me nuts
