the meg engine is a DMF ( dual mass flywheel .. )

Yeah is SMF as it's the Clio bottom end I've using

Well brakes through a fit last night as my rear passenger caliper packed up and started leaking fluid!!!

Fitted a new one tonight and bleed it through but haven't tested them yet as my new tyres have been a nightmare to go on my wheels



Also gauges are finally wired in lol

Feel your pain, just been bleeding my new 4-pots up. It takes some patience!

The RSR595 are fantastic tyres. Dont go bananas for the first 100 or so miles though. They aren't truly grippy until scrubbed in

Yeah I'll be taken it easy anyway as I'll be on my 500 mile run in period, yeah don't have the patience for it tho lol but I'm getting there with them got enough pressure to stop the car but pedal is still spongey

Well glad to say that the car is done and at the mappers shall be heading through today at somepoint to see it and it will be home tonight

Just back from the mappers and the cars been great few small issues but nothing extreme but unfortunately no boost at the moment but can use the car tho

Smoke tested the engine and found the throttle body was leaking at the joins and the one way valve that's goes from inlet to breather play wasn't sealing

So I'm gona strip the body off and put gaskets in and I've been to Renault and ordered a new one

Couple of the small jobs done today, insurance paid for only £390 a year was well chuffed lol also just back from MOT and it passed but still has and oil leak I'll get under the car on Monday and get it seen too along with redoing the battery cable as it's to thin for the job, but car feels good on the road some vibrating through the pedals but think that maybe the fact it's fully polybushed

Well car is fully road legal now... just oil leak, gasket paper to fit on the throttle body and oil change then out for a drive woohoo hope ther weathers good tomorrow ill get all they jobs done.

also ordered my 630cc injectors from the US last night £156 compared to £210 from UK and there Matched so no randoms out a bag!!

my aim is 300 anything over that is a bonus but duno wether to map the torque out abit to save the box or not which a few people have had done

Which box ? The Meg r26 box will take the torque all day long.

If you arent forged you are limited to 310ish ibft anyway

It's standard Clio box mate and the blocks forged but turbos only good to 320ish
