Thats correck, OE setup on the factory loom is a dual speed affair. I wont go into detail, because you should sack it off altogether and build a new, relayed, fused loom before it catches fireI noticed that there was a fan earth that was missing, so rectified that, to discover that it made both fans spin faster, and one faster than the other - I am not sure if that's correct - not quite sure how they should come on?

The most commonly failed part on a Renault 21 Turbo.I discovered that the original flexi-boost hose that goes to the intake plenum was the part that had failed
The top OE cooler is a choke point, as is the OE exhaust elbow. Once both are replaced you'll see a big difference overall. The car really did feel more responsive and definitely faster
No, smaller leaks are a far bigger risk than a complete boost loss. The turbo needs to produce boost to spin itself up (and this continues until the wastegate opens). If it never produces boost it'll never go very fast...if it does manage to pressure up the system to drive itself though, it can overspeed trying to make up for a small leak.Is that a risk? I don't know
Let me know when you're ready, i'll get you in our little R21 Adaptronic club....gives you a few options with what to do (and gets you a good deal to boot)I can see me getting him to fit an Adaptronic ECU at some point - can't wait!
