1994 16v hatch breaking - £Various

Jay, you are better off getting those off a late year 3 door mk1 clio, cut then front end down to fit the 19.

will it work for the backs? mines are in poor condition. i know ive gotta faf around and cut them to suit to fit.

hi
i am after the following bits if you can help please:

standard airbox and ducting/pipes
nearside central locking mechanism/motor

cheers
Daniel

hey mate any more update on the email i sent for car parts,,

I took pics of the items today.
The drivers door has a small amount of rust bubbling through on the bottom. The passenger door appears to be rust free but there looks like there may be a kink on the edge where it meets the back wing. I will post the pics below.
The back bumper is complete and hasnt been cut, few scuffs (see pics) but otherwise ok.

The drivers wing isnt the best to be honest as its has a pin dent on the top and a few ripples on the side. Typically the passenger wing is really good!
I certainly WOULDNT describe the bonnet as mint, it doesnt have the usual rust around the vent but it does have quite a few pin dents and its green on the outside and blue underneath!

The petrol cap is good (pic below) and I dont really want to sale the drive shafts as I may need them. However I may be picking another 19 up soon so will let you know

I have a 1991 Phase 1 3 door. Would the leather interior fit?

What's the drivers seat condition / wear like?

Thanks

Hi mate

There is a small amount of wear on the drivers seat, the rests of the seats are immaculate. The back seat in particular looks like its hardly been sat on.
The pictures make the drivers seat look worse than it actually is.....

Dunno, wouldn't have thought so, since on the rears both ends are finished/capped so if you start cutting bits to adjust the length then it would look awful. It may be possible to remove the little plastic end finishing cap from the strip, cut the strip to length, then refit the cap. Might not look 100% but probably better than what you've got now.

On the fronts the cut end is concealed beneath the wing mirror baseplate so it's not an issue.

Hi Simon

Make me an offer mate
The door cards do have a weird thing screwed to them though but not sure what it is?!
Will get a picture up of them

A few bits...

I am looking for the following:

1. Aux water pump relay and captive nut that holds it to the body. (This is the small black electrical module mounted to the inside of the near side wing. It is basically square, but round where the connector fits on)

2. Plastic grill over driver's side floor air duct
3. Accelerator cable clip (The plastic clip in front of the engine that holds the accelorater cable out of the way)
4. Internal cover of rear lights - the removable plastic cover inside the boot
5. Heater control panel with bullb(s)
6. Rear fog light switch
7. Hazard light switch

If you still have these, can you propose a price?

Thanks, Carl (Putput)

Hi mate, I will double check what I have tomorrow and let you know.
Someone is having the doors complete so I wont be able to sale the central locking motor but they are on the forum so they will have a spare when they take their doors off i guess.
I do have the standard airbox, the rubber strip on the o/s is missing but the n/s is there typically!
I will double check all though and get back to you

Hi mate

I'm after a speedo drive transducer (think it sits on the end of the speedo cable behind the dash clocks) and then will plug into the dash clocks somehow... sorry i'm being vague but don't actually have a R19! Also how much do you want for the ECU?

Cheers in advance

Matt.
