One of my all time faves Rob and a bit of a monster in the day. Still cheaper than a Lotus Cortina, but I suspect that the BMW will only continue to rise in price.

Thanks very much! It's a super cool car. I think the number of Turbo cars is much less than the Cortina too.

Noes a good a time as any to buy :D

Hey I have a celica gt4 as well, Carlos Sainz from Italy. Pretty sure it's cursed

had a 2002 turbo in the early 80s, all sorts of fuelling problems then! Throttle was all or nothing and huge dollops of turbo lag, great fun but totally unreliable and lethal in the wet! Ran it for about 6 weeks and went back to a 911
Should sell really easily as they are iconic vehicles of their era. Good luck with the sale :approve:

This 70s fuel injection stuff was just nonsense! It's kinda simple but really not.

Thanks very much!

Yes have had a few of those myself, shame they haven't achieved classic status yet but they are great and very underrated cars for sure - well if they are looked after and not abused by previous owners :race:

Currently have a 1987 ST165 GT4 in top condition which is basically a rally replica with period parts ...

With modern machining techniques and some clever tech you can now essentially "map" the Kuglefischer injection system absolutely perfectly. Not so long back it was very much a case of guessing how much material to remove or add to the pumps governor.

Aside from that, this is an amazing car!

Lucas Developments. The web page is accient but he/they are extremely clever. It is by no means a quick process like EFI mapping so it isn't cheap. I'm actually fitting a 2002ti fuel pump to my mk1 8 port mini along with old TJ throttle bodies purely because how well they can customise the fuel delevery for perfect running.
