Popped out to the Forge motorsport brunch club today, car did its thing and bobbed along nicely. Paul turned up in his one too which was cool. He also dropped me a boot badge and "8" badge to add to the side of the car that doesn't usually have one. It got some attention and lots of questions asked (mainly is it an imp) but nice to get it out and about.

Bounced to work and back in it again today. 32mile round trip and still taking everything in its stride . I've added a few cup holders which are a nice addition for my morning coffee, cans fit in there perfectly too. Need to give it a "clean" ready for Classic Cars and Gardens at Highnam Court on Sunday, it will be rubbing shoulders with plenty of fine machinery, hopefully they will find somewhere at the back to hide old rusty.... 😁

That Splitter fits surprisingly well. Any way it could be extended to the wheelarch edge. Could you mould a bit ? I suppose it would need each side extending making it double work .... Can you give me a link to the source, would like to see more.

Depends on what you find when you take the engine out. If it's later stuff. It'll swap straight over if not.. well we'll just have to cross that bridge when we get there. If you can get a picture from underneath the bellhousing looking up at the clutch and release bearing. It may be possible to work out what's there.

1397 from a fuego/18/ Volvo 340 series, or MK2 5, or 9 or 11. Someone out there will have something suitable.
I've got eyes on a 1397 from a mk2 r5. just awaiting on a few extra details.

I'm assuming currently, from reading some French info that I have a earlier, graphite unguided gearbox? ill get some pics to confirm though.
