No not the bird.....

Gearbox sounds like its straight cut. Was just when cold pitching into roundabouts but now it's getting worse.
Gearbox oil has been drained and refilled [checked and no undue bits of crap in the oil] it was refilled with texaco fully synth 95W90 oil -is that what's made it worse?
Has anyone else experienced this? 32000 miles only recently come about.
Gearbox is a piece of shit from my perspective. i've known quietler dog boxes [smilie=evil.gif]

got a mk1 box in the garage if you need one - it'll be reasonable

You should only run the gearbox on Renault oil.

Is it a wheel bearing ?

They sound as you go round corners ?

T'would appear i owe apologies to the
pk6...... PAS reservoir was in the "you're about to die" level of fill. never thought the PAS pump could sound like a straight cut box before..... zose craaaaazy french eh....
